Conjugating Stem Changing Verbs
To conjugate stem changing verb, we use the same steps for regular verbs. The only difference is when we conjugate the verbs in the nosotros and vosotros forms. Essentially, we are still following the boot and shoelace trick in the present tense: For example:
Yo pienso que nosotros durmamos mucho.
Yo pienso que tu duermas mucho.
Notice how we still follow the boot rule. We change the stem for the forms yo, tu, el/ella/Ud. and, ellos/ellas/Uds.
